All capitalized terms that are not defined herein have the meanings given them in the Awesome Boss Terms and Conditions Agreement.
1. Information Collection and Use
Basic Account Information
When you create or reconfigure a Awesome Boss account, you provide some personal information, such as your first name, last name, company, password, email address, and phone number. Awesome Boss uses this information to provide our Service, including processing your transactions and maintaining your accounts on the Service. We may use your contact information to send you information about our Service or to market to you, for example, we may use your cell phone number for the delivery of SMS messages, for example to deliver event reminders and weekly coaching tips to your cell phone. Your mobile carrier may charge you for those messages according to your service plan and you agree to be responsible for any such charges. You may use your account settings to select which types of notifications you receive from Awesome Boss. You may also unsubscribe by following the instructions contained within the notification or the instructions on our website.
Information About Others
We may collect information about others if you upload content that contains information about others to the Service, such as an employee’s image, first name, last name, nickname, title, birthday, work anniversary, notes, interests, phone numbers, email addresses, information about family members, favorite food or drink, social network profiles, or dietary restrictions. Awesome Boss uses this information to provide, improve, and personalize our Service for you.
We may use data from your device to determine location, for example, information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address. We may use and store information about your location to provide features of our Service and to improve and customize the Service, for example, with more relevant content such as by offering you services from local providers.
Awesome Boss may keep track of how you interact with links across our Service, including our email notifications, third-party Service, and client applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our Service and to be able to share aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on.
When you use our Service, we may receive information ("Log Data") such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device information (including device and application IDs), search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Service, for example, when you visit our websites, interact with links on the Service, sign into our Service, or interact with our email notifications. Awesome Boss uses Log Data to provide, understand, and improve our Service. We will either delete Log Data or remove any common account identifiers, such as your username, full IP address, or email address, after 18 months.
You may provide your payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address (collectively, "Payment Information"), along with your billing address, to complete a commerce transaction on Awesome Boss. To facilitate future purchases on Awesome Boss, we store your Payment Information, excluding CVV code, and shipping address, which you can remove from your account at any time using your account settings. We consider your Payment Information and shipping address private and do not make such information public.
Third-Parties and Affiliates
Awesome Boss uses a variety of third-party Services to help provide our Service, such as hosting our website, and to help us understand and improve the use of our Service, such as Google Analytics and Intercom. In particular, we provide a limited amount of your information (such as your email address and sign-up date) to Intercom and utilize Intercom to collect data for analytics purposes when you access or use the Service. Intercom analyzes your use of the Service and tracks our relationship so that we can improve our Service for you. We may also use Intercom as a medium for communications, either through email, or through messages within our Service. As part of our service agreements, Intercom collects publicly available contact and social information related to you, such as your email address, gender, company, job title, photos, website URLs, social network handles and physical addresses, to enhance your user experience. If you would like to opt out of having this information collected by or submitted to Intercom, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. These third-party service providers may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP address.

3. Your Choices Regarding Your Information
You can edit and change your profile and account data through your account "Settings".
You may opt out of sending us your location by updating your preferences through the settings of your mobile device or updating your account “Settings” on the Service.
If you do not wish to receive promotional emails or communications via SMS, you can click the "unsubscribe" button on promotional email communications. Note that you are not permitted to unsubscribe or opt-out of non-promotional messages regarding your account, such as account verification, password requests, order confirmations, change or updates to features of the Service, or technical and security notices.
Deleting Your Content
You may request that personal information that you posted to the Service be deleted by contacting us. We may maintain your information in identifiable form for our internal use, even if your personal data is no longer visible on our Service.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. To delete your account, please contact us at email@example.com. Account deletions will be completed within 48 hours of your request. Upon deletion data associated with your account will no longer be stored on the Service.
4. Security and Storage of Information
Awesome Boss cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information we collect and that we share with our service providers. All data is transferred using SSL encryption to Amazon Web Services. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee that the data is 100% secure. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
5. Persons Under the Age of 13
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without their consent, he or she should contact us. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.
