Note: If an employee worked well before but now needs micromanaging try to assess what is causing the change.
I will do my best to make instructions more clear to help you out, but I need you to take those instructions and do your best to work with them. Is there anything you’ve been assigned now that I can help clear up before we get back to work?
Note: Be as clear and concise as possible. Give the employee set instructions and explain each step. Explaining why things are done a certain way often helps employees remember and understand the rationale, instead of just remembering the steps.
